Drum Land is a company that was founded from the dreams of Paolo Rellandini, a drummer born in Italy who has spent most of his life in Kenya. For many years he has put his passion aside, but the beat of the drum never left his heart. He always admired the natural rhythm within the Kenyan people and the way they move as one with the music. He also loved listening to the local bands and extremely talented drummers, but felt sorry for their lack of quality instruments.

It was in 2012 that Paolo had the idea of supporting Kenya’s drummers by providing quality handmade Italian instruments that would give them the chance to take their musical talent to much higher level.

With the co-operation and support of TAMBURO, UFIP and DRUM ART; three of the most iconic and prominent manufacturers of Italian drums, cymbals and drumsticks, he was able to make his dream of helping and support Kenyan drummers a reality.
